Brutio Carta

“Brutio” is produced with 30% Sangiovese grapes and 70% Nerello Calabrese grapes, cultivated on the inaccessible Calabrian hillsides, at about 600 to 800 m of height. The vines exposed to the intense Calabrian sun take on the characteristics which distinguishes this excellent “Calabrian red”. Late vintage obtains the maximum aromatic concentration, the selected grapes, are gathered in a traditional manner with 48 hours of maceration. The must obtained is then passed and fermented in small oak casks. This particular method of preparation allow the wine obtained to be of an alcoholic grade of 14%, be of a full ruby red colour, intense, with elegant, noble yet compact tannins.
Particularly indicated for red meats, grilled, with sauce, with salami and matured cheese, served at a temperature of 16° - 18° C. “Brutio” will give an intense emotion and satisfy the most demanding palate.
