Isle Of Jura 19 Year Old The Paps

Scotch Single Malt Whisky / 70cl / 45.6%

From the Isle of Jura range of whiskies originally released for the Travel Retail market comes a 19 year old single malt named after the famous Paps of Jura on the western side of the island. It was allowed a finishing period in casks that were previously home to 40 year old Pedro Ximénez sherry.Besides the dark golden colour, this results in the incredibly complex aroma profile: the nose offers impressive accents of ginger cake, vanilla and balsamic, while the palate reveals notes of spiced pear, fig syrup and roasted walnuts.
