Akashi White Oak Blended

The first blended whiskey of the White Oak distillery, it is produced only with single malt whisky. It is characterized by an intense amber color. The nose expresses sweet spicy notes of cinnamon, supported by hints of caramel and black pepper. On the palate it is powerful and soft, with a great structure, with toasted notes that accompany the whole finish.
Akashi Red Blended

Akashi Red is a Japanese blended whisky. Distilled at Eigashima (White Oak) distillery and matured in bourbon casks, with a sherry cask finish. An approachable whisky, with notes of stone fruits and zingy spices, this will also make a fantastic Highball.
Nobushi

Here we have Nobushi, a blend of Japanese malt and grain whiskies from the Miyagi, Nagano, and Hokkaido prefectures, matured in American oak! It's named after the Nobushi, Japanese elite warriors sworn to protect villages – the word actually translates as 'spirit of honour'. On the palate Mint and earthy vanilla pod, with orange curd and sultana.

A fresh and fruity blended whisky from Japan, this is Yamazakura's no-age-statement release. This has notes of orchard fruit, salted caramel and vanilla.
Yamazakura Blended

A blended whisky from Japan's Yamazakura range, which is brought to market by Japanese company Sasanokawa Shuzo. The name itself a portmanteau of two Japanese terms 'Yama' means 'mountain' and 'Sakura' means cherry tree.
Toguchi Kiwami Blended

Kiwami (meaning 'supreme') is a blended Japanese whisky from Chugoku Jozo who mature their whiskies in a 361 metre long tunnel rather than a warehouse. A grain whisky with different features (an unblended whisky with a soft sweetness and an unblended whisky with rich minerals and grains) blends a well balanced peat aroma and a malt whisky that has a soft sweetness like vanilla and chocolate. Utilize the youthfulness, the whisky has been finished with a light flavour but comes with a kick.
Nikka Days

Nikka Days is a brilliantly bright blended Japanese whisky from the legendary producer, featuring spirits from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries. The slightly peated whisky delicately balances both fruity and malted flavours. On the palate Smooth and creamy, roasted nuts, toffee apple, toasty malted cereal and vanilla fudge alongside a hint of barrel char, freshened up by juicy apples.
Nikka From The Barrel

Nikka from the Barrel is big-boned and bursting with character. Not averse to a drop of water, either. A real star, winning top prize in its category at the World Whisky Awards in 2007 and 2010. On the palate Full-bodied and punchy. There is plenty of winter spice and toffee, a little caramel and vanilla and a good mouthful of fruit.
Nikka Rare Old Super Nikka

Blended whisky from Nikka. A very good blend all in all, with plenty of malt and dried fruit flavour. On the palate Rich and malty. This is a simple blend, but one of great quality and balance. Notes of orange zest, toffee and oak, with hints of peanut butter and cocoa.
Nikka Coffey Grain

Using the two Coffey stills at the Miyagikyo distillery, which were imported from Scotland to Japan in 1963, Nikka have produced a number of single cask single grain whiskies from time to time over the years. This, however, is their larger release of wonderfully exotic grain whisky. On the palate Sweet, fruity flavours of melon, grapefruit and thick syrup, balanced by crunchy biscuits and fresh vanilla.
Nikka Coffey Malt

Previously only released as part of single casks, Nikka decided to add their Coffey Malt to their core range in 2014. Distilled in a Coffey still normally used for grain whisky production, the malt is delightfully fruity and spicy.

A new edition of Nikka's Taketsuru Pure Malt, released in 2020! It features a new recipe, showing off the excellent balance of the Japanese whisky, alongside wafts of smoke and waves of creamy malt. On the palate More vanilla, subtly floral at points. Salted butter on toasted teacakes, ripe pear and peach.
Nikka Miyagikyo Single Malt

Firm, lively. Malted barley is at the heart of the palate, coated in herbaceous, liquorice, spiced (ginger, cinnamon) and chocolate tones. Very elegant, the mid-palate also delivers plenty of energy and as it draws to a close, fresh tobacco leaves and coconut intertwine to create a natural symphony of aromas.
Nikka Yoichi Single Malt

Firm, powerful. A well-balanced attack gives equal footing to aromas of peat, smoke, spices, fresh fruit (melon, kiwi) and nuts (almond, walnut), which it delivers in spades. The mid-palate starts off with chocolate notes, but the peat soon takes the lead once again.
Nikka Tailored

A fabulous Japanese blended whisky from Nikka, Tailored brings together a core of malted barley from the Miyagikyo and Yoichi distilleries, along with Coffey still grain whisky! A brilliant balance of sweet fruit and more bitter notes, the distillery suggests enjoying it alongside some dark chocolate.
Suntory The Chita Single Grain

Japanese single grain whisky from the Chita distillery, one of the selection of fantastic distilleries owned by Suntory. This is their main expression - a whisky matured in a combination of Sherry, bourbon and (interestingly) wine casks. On the palate Vanilla sponge cake and more honey. A touch of orchard blossom.

The Koshi-No Shinobu Pure Malt

Shinobu non-age statement (NAS) expressions are made by carefully selected quality whiskies from different distilleries which are first reserved in ex-sherry and ex-bourbon casks and then finished with precious Japanese Mizunara oak in Japan. The Koshi-No Shinobu 10 Year Old

Here we have a 10 year old blended malt from the Shinobu range! This one spent most of its days in bourbon and sherry casks before it was transferred to Japanese Mizanura oak for a finish, imparting earthy, woody notes to the whisky. A suitably well-rounded expression. On the palate Earthy oak and milky coffee, with orange chocolate and vanilla pod.
The Kurayoshi 8 Year Old

8 year old blended malt whisky from The Kurayoshi range, produced by Matsui Shuzou in the Tottori Prefecture. These whiskies are made with a blend of Scotch and Japanese malt whiskies, brought down to bottling strength with volcanic-stone-filtered water. On the palate Pink peppercorn, orange peel, lingering toasted oak warmth.
The Kurayoshi 12 Year Old

A 12-year-old world blended whisky from the Kurayoshi range, produced by the Matsui Shuzou distillery in Tottori Prefecture. Aromas of charred orange peel, lemongrass and rye bread fill the nose, complemented by notes of apple, white grape, barley, lime blossom, ginger and a hint of smoke throughout the palate.
Yamazaki Distiller's Reserve Single Malt

Released in Spring 2014, this is one of two Distiller's Reserve single malt whiskies from Suntory in Japan. This single malt from the Yamazaki distillery is jam-packed with superb red berry notes, gained from the whisky being matured in Bordeaux wine casks and Sherry casks. It also features malt matured in Mizunara casks, adding subtle fragrant oak notes.
Yamazaki 12 Year Old Single Malt

On the nose Good body with plenty of nut oils and zest, a pleasant floral character with a little tropical fruit and a rooty note. On the palate Smooth and soft with good sweetness and winter spice. A lovely citrus note develops with more tropical fruit notes and a little rum. The finish is medium with fruit and zest.
