A brand-new release from award-winning Taiwanese distillery Kavalan, celebrating the craftsmanship of Master Blender Ian Chang. Aged in refill casks, Distillery Select captures the fruity, tropical character that Kavalan has become known for, whilst also displaying a refined balance from its maturation in the tropical temperatures of Taiwan. The palate is full of notes of tropical fruits and chocolate that mingle with toffee apples, salted caramel and vanilla. The finish is smooth and fruity, full of pineapple and mango notes, and sweet, tropical spices.

Kavalan Concertmaster Port Cask Finish

This single malt whisky showcases Ruby Port, Tawny Port and Vintage Port casks from Portugal to finish whiskies that were initially matured in American oak. On the palate Brown sugar mixed with ground cinnamon and white pepper, doused in good Port. A core of white oak warmth.

A limited edition whisky from King Car's Kavalan distillery in Taiwan, part of their range which also includes the orchestrally inspired Solist series. The whisky was selected to show off the range of flavour that the distillery can produce and reflect the multi-armed nature of their parent company.
Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique

To mature their Kavalan Solist Vinho Barrique expression, the King Car distillers in Taiwan use casks which have held both red and white wines, before being re-toasted. The whisky is fully matured in these casks to help their Taiwanese single malt develop a bold, expressive flavour profile brimming with berry, plum and caramelised sugar notes.
