Tomatin distillery's new no-age-statement release uses virgin oak as well as bourbon casks. It provides a new entry level to the Tomatin range but the use of different casks make this a unique expression. On the palate Cracked pepper and sweet barley with pineapple cube sweets. Waves of warming oak beneath.
Tomatin 12 Year Old Bourbon & Sherry Casks

This core single malt from the ace distillery in the Highlands is finished for six-to-nine months in Oloroso Sherry casks before being bottled. On the palate Oak-y vanilla and fresh mint, dotted with stem ginger and dried orange peel.
Tomatin 14 Year Old Portwood

The Tomatin 14 Year Old was introduced to the core range in 2014. It features Highland single malt matured in bourbon barrels as well as specially selected Port casks, imparting wine-like sweetness to the whisky. On the palate Dark chocolate dipped in strawberries. Crushed almonds, walnuts, Victoria sponge (with plenty of the prerequisite jam and cream in the middle) and a centre of oak.
Tomatin 18 Year Old Oloroso Sherry Casks

The nose is quite punchy and of good body. There are notes of chewy grape and sultana with winter spice; cloves and cinnamon. There are notes of vanilla fudge and a most supple of smokes, weaving gracefully in cut grasses and apple peels. The palate is quite sweet and full. There are notes of barley sugar and honeycomb. Hints of chocolate orange and cocoa dusted liberally on toasty oak. The finish is long and powerful with a dry, chewy oak and a touch of pepper.
Tomatin 21 Year Old Bourbon Barrels

A 21-year-old single malt from Tomatin that has been matured exclusively in first-fill ex-bourbon casks. Aromas of vanilla, coconut, caramel, baked apple, tart oranges and soft summer flowers fill the nose, complemented by notes of apple crumble, freshly-baked croissants, Manuka honey, ginger, clove and star anise throughout the palate.
